Beautiful Nov 26, 2009 I don't have too much to write about this book except that it was everything I wanted and expected. It is simple, beautiful, real, honest and gorgeous. It has a raw quality about it that is breathtaking.

Picture Perfect Feb 20, 2009 A Thousand Things arrived very promptly and in great condition. The only way I'd be happier is if Jason Mraz delivered it himself.
5 Stars.

Jason's photo book Jan 10, 2009 This book is very inspiring. From someone who loves photopraphy, it is amazing how some of the photos came out, from a Polaroid,if you can believe it. If you love Jason you will love this book.

Beautiful, everyday things Jan 07, 2009 Those who know Jason Mraz know he just wants to share. He'll play a concert in someone's backyard if he has an audience - no matter how large or small. He's shared his music for years, now we get to see through his eyes with his book of Polaroids. I love it. Each photo is beautiful and interesting in its own way, untouched, documenting that moment no matter what "beauty marks." No text or captions to read. Just look and let your imagination drift. Just slow down and enjoy, that's the point. I love this book! On top of that, it's a completely environmentally-friendly product (I work in publishing, that is no small feat) Which, if you know Jason's morals, makes sense. I love this book and am so glad Mr. Mraz shared his shoebox full of polaroids with all of us.

Horribly disappointing! Not worth $2 let alone $27 Dec 29, 2008 I used to be one of Jason Mraz's biggest fans. My love for him has been dwindling for awhile. I feel like he doesn't really care as much for his fans as he used to, which is disappointing. I was let down by his previous album (I only enjoyed two of the songs and one was already on a previous CD), but I wasn't ready to count him out. I saw this book and my hope rose again. I was so excited to look through it, expecting it to be a "travelogue" of what it's like to be on the road with Jason Mraz. What I got was a 50 some page book that had one picture on each page. Yes, that's right: ONE PICTURE. Not even one picture front and back, just one picture on the front of each page. It's "eco-friendly" but they wasted enough paper making this book. Maybe if the pictures had descriptions of what you're looking at it wouldn't be so bad, maybe a little commentary from Mraz, but no, we don't even get the pleasure of that. There were at least two pictures of a hallway, a HALLWAY. There were pictures of random buildings taken through a window, shrubbery, a tree, blurred people, people I didn't know, Jason Mraz in shadow, a sign. It was very disappointing and I'm afraid my last glimmer of hope for being a die-hard Mraz fan has died in the wake of this book. Take your $27 and buy something worth looking at.
