One hit wonder Feb 26, 2013

Couple of good songs but not enough to fill an entire album. Do like the song At Home which is why I bought it.

World Music For One Jun 25, 2012
By Daly Mavorneen
"Brimstone"
A Spanish/British Group who combine electronic dance music with Basque folk music (!), the result is a far-out, rave-on-the-outskirts-of-town affair that pays little attention to intelligent lyrics and heaps tons of attention on sonic excitement and sheer vocal rawness ("I Love London" and "I Do This Everyday"). They already scored a Puma running shoe commercial with the chugging "Follow," obviously the most fully-formed song here (and the weirdest, cheapest video; see YouTube). Every song is infinitely listenable, however, making this THE summer disc to spin away the hot mornings and warm, exciting nights. But this album won't wear out its welcome come autumn, either. For more summer kinky listening, also check out German electronic jazzters, DePhazz's new cd, "Audio Elastique;" the funky rooster blowing pink bubble gum on the cover tells you everything you need to know!

Interesting enough to download and remain occupied for its duration. Not sure if it will have any sort of longevity, but it pacifies momentarily.
Eclectic journey May 20, 2013
By Eric C. Woods Very unique mix of world music, electronica, and indie rock. Even though there's a great variety in each track they all have their signature sound. Every track is good enough to be a single really, just a great album.
Interesting and Fresh: A Hidden Gem Feb 14, 2013
By Laura Woitalla When I first came across Crystal Fighters, the first two songs I came across was 'Plage' and 'At Home'. Instantly- from these two tracks, I fell in love. When I bought the entire record, I was totally surprised by the rest of the record, 'Swallow' kind of has a dubstep style while 'I Love London' has a funk electronic beat to it. Crystal Fighters will definitely not be for everyone but they will be for some. The best way to describe them? folktronic. This is a band to keep your eye on! If your into Two Door Cinema Club or The Temper Trap, you might enjoy these guys. Do I recommend this record? Yes, but not for everyone. I'm definitely interested to see what else comes from the Crystal Fighters.
