thaa REAList Mar 19, 2009 I'll keep this short and simple. This CD is pretty much amazing, from start to finish the beats are fresh and his flow is tight. I will admit i've never been a huge fan of plies, i mean he has some good songs especially those he collaborated with other artists, but this CD proves he can do this by himself and has the potential to go down as one of the best. Even for those of us who can't relate to the ways of the goons, those of us who live an average life without the strippers and hoes, stacks of paper and 28s, this guy goes hard for us all. Awesome. Buyy itt

HIS BEST YET!!! Jan 09, 2009 I have all of Plies cd's but honestly Ive never really listened to any of them except his last one briefly. This is his best thus far, lyrical hes never going to be put in the top 10 but the cd is nice and it's quite an improvement over the last couple of cds he's put out. Beside Plies has never declared himself a lyrical juggernaunt, he makes music you can listen to and enjoy, for those purposes it lives up to expectations.

4.5 stars; plies is here to stay Jan 06, 2009 Plies album; the realiet goes hard. I don't understand the negative reviews for this cd. You already know what kind of music he puts out; street music so if you haven't liked him since the real testament, chances are, you won't like this cd. On to the review. Plies junior effort, the realiet, picks up where his last cd left off. In his interview , he stated that he wanted this cd to apply to more of the club scene. Most of it do; but don't get it twisted; it's still street.
The street songs include me and goons, all black( a hard song with a dark drum beat), pants hang low, co-defendent, heard of me and f**k you gone do about it. The deep songs are 2nd chance, family straight and gotta be. The songs for the ladies are want it, need it, spend the night , put it on ya, and street light. The rest of the tracks deal with paper. Not really a bad track on the cd; but there are a couple tracks i skip and that include make a movie and spend the night. This is plies most consistent album out of the 3 he put out. So if you want some real street music, then cop this here album.
Q's top 6
1. Family straight
2. 2nd chance
3. pants hang low
4. gotta be
5. want it, need it
6. all black
