Excellent DVD.
If you like James Blunt you gotta get this DVD.

I purchased the edited/amended version of Chasing Time The Bedlam Sessions concert DVD. What a treat! The concert is excellent!
James is such a heart-felt singer. His openness and honesty is quite refreshing in a day of airbrushed, computerized, perfected vocalists recording today. I've never seen anyone sing with so much feeling and emotion. He genuinely feels his experiences each time he sings for his audience.
I love his British sense of humor and his rather shy, humble nature. He is unfailing polite even in the face of his critics, and he is very nice to his fans. What a gentleman!
The interviews on the DVD are very nice, and I love all of the videos. The original versions of HIGH and WISEMEN are simply hysterical! Their inclusion alone is worth the price of the DVD. :) My two favorites are the re-shot video for HIGH and the video for YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL.
I have gotten my hands on both of his albums in 2009. There is very good material on All the Lost Souls. He is INCREDIBLE LIVE! I've been addicted to YOU TUBE lately, and I'm looking forward to him returning to the USA to tour in the future.
My husband, a retired, disabled U.S. army vet, likes his songs, too, and says he can relate to many of them. He sings along on GOODBYE MY LOVER and many others. :)

Truth be told, I hadn't really known James's work before I saw this show, just a couple of singles. So, for me, it was the first time I had the chance to really see what his music was all about.
I immediately connected with his sound, and the powerfully moving lyrics of his songs. I admire an artist that really seems to be involved with the songs and the performances. Blunt really seems to give the best of himself every single time, I came to realize.
And then, I became a fan. Bought both deluxe editions of his albums 'Back to Bedlam' and 'All the Lost Souls', and keep listening to them on my MP4 player quite often.
Looking forward to going to his concert with Elton John here in Rio de Janeiro!

This is the most emotion filled passionate artist I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. This video shows his beautiful, and at times, sad eyes. It is quite obvious that he sings from his heart. My heart goes out to him as I find myself identifying with his past hurts and his sadness. I can only imagine what being a soldier and taking part in war could do to a person. As I watch this video I wish I could talk with him, get to know him better or just hang out and listen to that amazingly haunting voice. This video is a MUST buy!!!
